Avid Carp Transfer Solid PVA Bags
The PVA used to make these solid bags feels a lot stronger and more substantial than most.

Couple this with the strong seams and the result is that I’ve only burst three bags out of the 120 or so that I’ve tied up, and these were all out of the same packet; the Transfer bags are certainly durable. This helps immensely when tying them up if, like me, you lack patience at times. I thought that this durability would restrict the PVA’s ability to break down properly, but it doesn’t. Granted, I have yet to use them in really cold water but, given how quickly they break down in warmer water, I can’t see this being an issue. There are four sizes available, but I particularly like the size 5 bags, which I only half fill to create a nice, small package. They break down well, are user-friendly and each pack holds enough for a couple of sessions, so they tick all the boxes for me.
