JRC Razor X Rod
These are surprisingly stiff for the given test curve. The 2.75lb models feel more like a 3lb or even 3.25lb. This is worth bearing in mind if you’re thinking of buying a set.

Don’t buy the 2.75lb versions if you’re looking for a forgiving, through-actioned rod. On the flip side, if you need something that’ll cope with demanding situations then these are ideal. Most of the action is in the tip, with a very stiff butt section, and the 2.75lb models will cope easily with casting 3½oz/4oz leads and PVA bags. The blank is incredibly slim and lightweight and it’s made from Japanese carbon, which is highly regarded for its quality. As you’d expect with a rod of this price, the fixtures and fittings are top notch.
