Advanced Carp Fishing magazine and sister publication Total Carp are great sources of information, stories and inspiration. Both monthly magazines will be of great help to your two boys and are available as magazines or apps for iPhone, iPads and android devices.

Over and above these many companies now produce free DVDs, which you will be able to get hold of at most respectable tackle shops. Korda, Trakker, Nash and Avid Carp are just a handful of the companies that make such DVDs, which can usually be found on the tackle shop counter. Both of the aforementioned titles also produce DVDs from time to time, which are given away with copies of the magazine and well worth looking out for.

These would be a good and relatively inexpensive starting point for your boys.
