The wind was hammering a south westerly and just could not be ignored. I set up right in the teeth of the wind with the intention of fishing only close. A 3kg bucket of hemp and boilie was deposited onto the spot at around 40 yards, followed by two small snowman rigs.
Midnight produced a total one toner. The fish turned out to be a lovely little mirror of around 16lbs. The fish went back and out went another 1kg of bait. Unfortunately that was the end of the action for the night but I will certainly be heading back soon to hopefully bag a chunk.
