As with the other terminal bits, the Camo-Core is available in weed, silt and gravel colours. The art of camouflage, however, is not just matching the likely lake bed, but breaking up the outline of the rig with colour changes. This has been tried before, but the bands of colour were too long. If you tie a rig of around eight inches, you should get at least three changes of colour, which really help disguise the presence of the rig. The inner braid has a close weave, which makes it extremely robust. You could reach for the 20lb or 25lb versions when fishing the snaggier pits, while the 15lb version is a super material for most UK fishing.
