Rich says: I’ve had a couple of sessions using this bait in 2010 and I’ve caught both times. For me, this is a bait that you just know is going to catch from the off. It smells, frankly horrible, but you can’t stop taking the odd sniff and I knew that the carp would eat it immediately. It has a salty, shrimpy, fishy smell that’s among the most easily recognisable out there.
It’s what’s happening under the skin of the boilie that’s important as well. I have every confidence that this bait kicks out all the right signals and it’s good for the fish, to boot.
I’m certainly not a bait expert, so my findings are all fishing based, which is probably the same as most of you reading this. In which case I’d say give it a go, because I’ve caught on it each time I’ve used it, which is about as good as I can reasonably expect. This is not a ‘fad’ bait, it’ll still be catching them in 10 years.
