Jason says: I’ve never been a massive fan of stainless banksticks, preferring the subtler, lighter sticks that are available. However, when the JAG stainless arrived in the office it caught my eye straightaway because it really looked the part and is extremely well made. Stainless can be quite heavy and bulky but the JAG sticks and bars are surprisingly light. The stainless is machined from 100 per cent high-grade steel in England. Now for the clever bit: the sticks and bars feature a unique thumbscrew that can’t drop off into the mud – a nice touch.
I have been using the three-rod adjustable buzz bars and they have certainly impressed me. The internal section of the bankstick also features a point, so you can leave the outer sticks in situ while you go off stalking. Although JAG stainless is one of the most expensive on the market, it’s certainly well up there when it comes to quality.
