Korda Adrena-Line - 12/10/2009
I have to admit that I was slightly unsure of this line when I first used it. It seemed to be a little buoyant for my liking.
You see, I got a bit paranoid about pinning my line down and sinking monos seemed the best solution. However, once I’d used the Adrena-Line for a few sessions it started to sink better and I came to appreciate the other attributes that it has. This is easily the best-behaved mono that I’ve ever used, it spools up nicely, it’s limp and thin and it’s a brilliant, unobtrusive colour. Actually, it’s more than one colour, which helps break up the outline in water. Korda suggests that it’s an extremely abrasion-resistant line, which I have no reason to doubt because it’s yet to let me down on any of the Around The Circuit features that I’ve taken it on.
I like this performance mono so much that it’s become a permanent addition to the kit that I take to a new venue. You can cast it a long way, it’s limp, well camouflaged and abrasion resistant and you can’t ask for much more than that.
