Rich says: I used a product that’s very similar to this a couple of years back, yet they fell short of being the perfect helicopter bead for a couple of reasons. Mainly, the ring swivels that I used would occasionally pop over the top stop on a particularly forceful cast. Clearly, this is far from the ideal situation, because I don’t want to be fishing a hinged stiff link up the leader like a chod rig! There’s no chance with the 5mm Nash versions because they’re just that little bit chunkier. Added to that, they grip the leader really well, sliding free at just the right pressure when wet. Say goodbye to piercing traditional beads through the sides or threading fiddly silicone up the leadcore. Give them a whirl for your chod fishing; they are mega-convenient.
