Tackle Tested: Gardner Deluxe Thermal Bedchair Cover - 08/03/2010

Oli says: This is one item of tackle that I use all the time, summer or winter. The warmth aside, which is achieved through a thick, fleece lining, the thing I like most about these covers is the size. They’re oversized so that they overhang each side of the bedchair, helping to eliminate draughts. Unlike some versions, Gardner’s is waterproof, which keeps the worst of the condensation well away from your sleeping bag. It’s finished in a distinctive camou pattern, which I guess you either like or don’t. Clearly, it isn’t going to be all that necessary under the bivvy but it’s perfect for sleeping under the stars and blending in at the same time.

I honestly can’t fault it.
