On Tight Lines this week Keith will be joined by carp angler Lee Jackson, a former British record holder and British Carp Angling Champion. Lee is also involved in one of the leading tackle shops specialising in carp fishing so is ideally placed to pass on some great tips that'll help you catch bigger specimens.

We get out on the bank with top rod Iain Macmillan at prolific carp venue Thorpe Lea. Ting-Tong, as he's known to his mates, demonstrates his approach in ideal conditions at the Surrey day ticket water, including the use of the spod and an assortment of hook baits.
 
You can also see Keith in match fishing action on his beloved River Thames. Last weekend saw the return of the Lower Thames Championship which was staged last year for the fist time in over 2 decades - such was it’s success that Keith felt compelled to take part this time round.
 
There will also be the regular look ahead to what’s in store for all anglers up and down the country as Keith brings you his weekly ‘Fishery Focus’. He’ll have details on conditions, some typical venues for all disciplines of the sport, and the best methods and baits to use.
 
Next week On Tight Lines Keith and guest Gord Burton will be looking ahead to the predator fishing season which unofficially begins at the start of October. Gord, known as the ‘Piking Pirate', is one of the country's best exponents in the art of lure fishing and he’ll be sharing his expertise as well as a few predator tales.
